Order history
Every purchase in one list: the projects you supported, the tonnes funded, the standard and vintage, and the date of each order.
The Carbon Marketplace is our online platform for funding high-quality climate projects. Search and filter CRISP-rated projects verified by Verra VCS, Gold Standard and the Climate Action Reserve, buy the tonnes you need, and have your credits retired on the registry in your name. Every order, serial number and certificate stays in your account, so your climate contribution is always traceable.

Buying carbon credits is only half the job. To make a credible claim you need to show which credits were retired, where, and on whose behalf. Your Carbon Marketplace account keeps that record for you, permanently.
Every purchase in one list: the projects you supported, the tonnes funded, the standard and vintage, and the date of each order.
Your credits are retired on the relevant registry in your name. Your account shows the registry, the retirement details and the credit serial numbers, so every tonne can be traced back to its project.
See your total contribution to date across all projects, download your certificates at any time, and share a clear summary with colleagues, customers or auditors.
Filter the marketplace by project type to find the climate action that fits your goals. Carbon removal projects take CO2 out of the atmosphere; emission reduction projects stop it being released in the first place. Many organisations choose a mix of both.
Planting new forests on degraded or previously unforested land, drawing down CO2 as the trees grow.
Turning plant waste into a stable form of carbon that is locked into soils for centuries.
Restoring degraded grasslands so their soils capture and store more carbon.
Compare removal projects by CRISP rating, location and price.

Browse Climate Action Reserve creditsCRISP is our independent rating system for carbon credits. Each project is scored on four criteria:
Would the emission reductions have happened anyway without carbon finance?
How secure is the stored or avoided carbon against reversal from fire, disease or land-use change?
Are the reductions measured accurately under a robust, independently verified methodology?
Does the project simply move emissions elsewhere?

Carbon credits work best alongside real reductions in your own emissions, not instead of them. Keeping retirement records and serial numbers for every tonne helps you make accurate, evidence-based statements about your climate contribution.

Visit the Carbon MarketplaceThe Carbon Marketplace is Carbon Footprint Ltd's online platform for buying and retiring verified carbon credits. You can search and filter projects by standard, project type and location, check each project's CRISP rating, buy credits securely, and keep a permanent record of every order, retirement and serial number in your account.
Create a free account, browse or filter the projects, add the tonnes you want to fund to your cart, and pay by card or invoice through our secure Stripe checkout. Your credits are then retired on the relevant registry in your name and your personalised certificate is issued instantly.
The Carbon Marketplace lists credits verified under Verra's Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard and the Climate Action Reserve (CAR). You can filter by standard, and you can also filter for credits approved under the ICVCM Core Carbon Principles.
Current project types include afforestation, biochar and grassland restoration (carbon removals), and REDD+ forest protection, cookstoves, clean drinking water, energy efficiency, landfill gas, solar power and wind power (emission reductions). Available projects change as new credits are added, so the live marketplace always shows the current list.
Carbon removal credits represent carbon dioxide taken out of the atmosphere and stored, for example in growing trees, restored grassland or biochar. Emission reduction credits represent emissions that were avoided, for example by replacing fossil fuel power with wind or solar, or by protecting forests that would otherwise be cleared. Both are measured in tonnes of CO2e, and many organisations choose a mix.
Retirement permanently cancels a credit on its registry so it cannot be sold or claimed again. When you buy through the Carbon Marketplace, your credits are retired in your name and your account records the registry, the project and the credit serial numbers, so every tonne can be traced back to its source.
Yes. Your Carbon Marketplace account keeps a full history of your orders, including the projects supported, the tonnes funded, retirement information and credit serial numbers. You can also view summary reports of your total contribution to date and download your certificates at any time.
